Appointments

Emergencies
Emergencies will receive prompt attention. If you are in our waiting room when an emergency or seriously ill patient comes in, please understand and be assured that if you were in the same situation, your needs would be met immediately.
Account or Insurance Questions
Questions about account balances or insurance information can be answered by the insurance staff by calling 361-884-2858. If you have questions about medical care, the nurse will return calls after the last patient in the evening or early the next morning. We have a voice mail system for leaving messages.
Initial Office Visit
All new patients should arrive 15 minutes early in order to fill out registration and medical history forms. This information is essential for the doctor to use during your initial examination. You must bring your insurance card and photo ID for your file.
Prescription Refills

After Hours
After office hours calls will be handled by our telephone answering service. All emergency calls are immediately forwarded to the doctor on call. If you experience severe bleeding, pain, or other unusual symptoms, go to the nearest Hospital Emergency Room.
Insurance and Billing
We accept Medicare and most insurances. Please contact our office to verify acceptance of your insurance plan. Qualifications for insurance coverage may differ due to the uniqueness of each procedure. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own gastroenterologist.
Charges for our medical services reflect the time spent, the specialized nature of the doctor's experience, and the individual diagnostic studies performed. Our fees are comparable to other similarly trained specialists in the field. All co-pays and deductibles are due at the time of your visit or procedure.
